Western
Port Pipe & Mechanical Services Pty Ltd (WPP&MS) was established over
fifteen years ago. Located on the Mornington Peninsula, we service Maintenance
and Capital works for many large industries in the region. Through continuous
growth these services now extend throughout Australasia. The
Company’s principle client during this period has been BHP Steel. However,
Western Port Pipe & Mechanical Services Pty Ltd undertakes significant work
for a range of diverse companies. The
Company operates out of a 600 sq.mtr. workshop at Hastings and 2 x 350 sq mtr
workshops in Lang Lang, South Gippsland, which are fully equipped for
mechanical, structural and maintenance services. Our
Management Team has a wealth of experience in Maintenance and relevant
Engineering systems pertaining to heavy industry and process environments. The
primary focus of WPP&MS is to understand the needs of our Clients while
providing a safe environment for our people. Our people are our most important
asset by far, with a cross section of trades, engineering and specialist
expertise. In
addition to formal trade and professional qualifications, many of our people are
trained in Kepner Tregoe’s ‘Analytical Troubleshooting’ process and
Statistical Process Control techniques. Several people are also trained leaders
in Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) process, whilst others are trained Safety and
Quality Auditors. At
WPP&MS we have the skills to complete the Project, from Planning to
Procurement, to Manufacture to Installation, to Commissioning to Completion.
